The family keeps about 60 head of registered appaloosas on their ranch near Butler, MO and are known locally as "the place to go" if you are looking for an Appy. They currently stand two stallions: Joker's Big Stepper, who has garnered top 10 honors at the ApHC National Show three times, and Alias Parker King, who has also achieved ApHC national top 10 honors in both non-pro and open halter. They are also bringing up a promising young stallion, Sonny's Appeal, who won ApHC national and Missouri Appaloosa Horse Association (MAHA) honors as a weanling. Off the ranch, Don Law is part owner of a Vit-A-Zine dealership in Butler, MO. In addition to working with the horses, Linda :aw also operates the family tack shop located on the ranch. Don and Linda Law have been married 43 years. Although the Laws enjoy horses in general, they do have a distinct admiration for the Appaloosa and have always been a staunch advocate for the breed. when asked why they chose the Appy, Don and Linda Law can give many reasons, but the main one is quite simple: "We just can't wait to see those spotted babies."
